a place to hide

A couple weeks ago I got to do a photoshoot for a fellow photographer and friend Rebecca. We went to a really cool greenhouse here in Anchorage, and at the end of the shoot she agreed to post for this photo! I previously had no idea I would shoot this, so had to think a bit on the spot for a concept. The creepy door reminded me of a typical horror movie, and her red shirt could bring out ideas of blood. So in photoshop I used a bit of the moss from the door and put it over her mouth, changed the color to make it look bloody/muddy, and viola! Instant creepy photo that could have a million different stories behind it.

It's funny because the photoshoot we were having was basically the farthest thing from this image, but I'll talk more about those in a future post. Hope you all have a great weekend!
